I’ve visited nine countries so far, and my favorite memories rarely come from following a packed tourist itinerary. I love finding a great local meal, getting outdoors, and discovering the little places that make a destination feel like itself.

Meet my Sister-in-law Sam! She is originally from Pennsylvania, a mom of three boys, and happiest when she is outside. Fishing, fly fishing, and hunting are some of my favorite ways to spend a day, especially when I get to share that time with my family.

Meet Tony and Tina! Tony is my Dad, and together they’re part of the family behind Salty Timber Retreats. They split their time between Kentucky and Florida, so both destinations feel like home to them. They love seeing guests discover what makes each place special and make memories of their own along the way.

Meet Brian and Michelle! Brian is my uncle, and he and Michelle are part of the family behind Salty Timber Retreats. They also split their time between our roots in Kentucky and our home away from home in Florida. They’ve always made room for animals in their lives, and their love for pets helped inspire our pet-friendly stays. —they know a getaway is even better when your four-legged family members can come along. Together, Brian and Michelle hope our homes give guests a comfortable place to relax, explore, and make memories.

Meet Debbie and Mendel Tipton! They’ve been longtime partners and have become like family to us. Avid world travelers, they know that the best trips are the ones you’re still talking about years later.
